The Sweet and Kind Taylor

The Sweet and Kind Taylor

We are thrilled to introduce everyone to the sweet and kind Taylor Klinke! Taylor is a BCaBA at our Southlake PediaPlex location and works in our ABA Therapy program.

About Taylor

Taylor has worked at PediaPlex since May of 2018 (2.5 years!). She was born and raised in Coppell, Texas and then earned her bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M. When Taylor isn’t at work you can find her spending time with her husband and their dog, cooking new recipes, and spending time outside.

After Taylor completed her degree at Texas A&M, she worked as a RBT (registered behavior technician) in Houston while she completed a year and a half long ABA program to become a BCaBA. After 1000 hours of fieldwork and a boards exam, she is now a BCaBA and a Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst.

Taylor wanted to become a BCaBA because “I’ve always known I wanted to work with children, and when I learned about the science behind ABA I knew it was the right fit for me. I love the flexibility of being a BCaBA. I also enjoy the collaboration and ongoing professional development aspects of working with an experienced supervisor.”

Her favorite part about working at PediaPlex is being able to see our clients learn skills that they can use for the rest of their lives and seeing their parents learn to help them. “It’s so rewarding working with the entire family unit to meet goals!”

A BCaBA is the bachelor’s (undergraduate) level behavior analyst board certification.  A BCaBA performs many of the same responsibilities as a BCBA but does so under the supervision of a BCBA.  In ABA Therapy, we use the principles of Behavior Analysis to modify behaviors.  A typical day might include:

Taylor is a wonderful part of the PediaPlex family! Her love for the children and what she does as a BCaBA is shown every single day! She brings so much light into our offices! We just love her!” – Sonia, PediaPlex owner
