PediaPlex will be sponsoring, attending, and hosting events throughout August as families and educators prepare for the start of a new school year. On August 9 at 6 p.m., PediaPlex will be holding its own “Gearing up for School” event to educate and support families on how to effectively prepare for the start of school. In addition, the organization will provide free therapy consultations to help parents be more proactive in identifying and accessing the services their children need to be more successful. In addition, PediaPlex will be a sponsor for the 29th Annual Highland Village Balloon Festival, the Back-to-School Luncheon hosted by the Irving Independent School District and Greater Irving Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, and the ESC Region 10 Lifeskills Teachers Bootcamp. All of these programs are geared toward providing families and educators with the information and resources they need to support children in being more confident, independent, and successful in their lives.
