• Ages 10-15

• Participants must have an Autism diagnosis within the last 3 years by developmental pediatrician, psychiatrist, or psychologist.

Social Skills Group

PediaPlex is excited to offer a Social Skills Group this summer in two separate sessions. This group will consist of 5-7 peers to allow the child to focus on individualized and group goals. Within the social skills group, the child can work on expressive language, improving social skills, and increase their self-confidence. The social skills curriculum targets skills regarding functional communication, social skills, and some adaptive living skills such as following food recipes, loading a dishwasher, following directions, folding clothes, dressing, and so much more!

The Lead RBTs will help coordinate activities while providing help when needed using ABA principles to achieve the goal. The social skills group provides a unique experience for adolescents to engage, interact, and socialize with peers. The social skills group allows adolescents to learn and utilize their skills to connect with peers in a safe environment.
