We recognize and understand the importance of continuing therapy services and hope this will provide an option to families who are unable to travel to our Southlake, Frisco, or Fort Worth clinics.

Teletherapy Services: How It Works
Teletherapy is therapy and parent training from the comfort and safety of your home. Teletherapy services allow our therapists to virtually communicate through a confidential platform with video and audio. After your evaluation has been completed, our BCBAs, speech language pathologists and occupational therapists will schedule your therapy appointment and send you the materials you need to prepare prior to the therapy session. Our therapists will make these sessions engaging and interactive. We recommend having a parent present for the sessions to help with attention as well as learning parent instruction of the therapy techniques for home use.
Preparing for Teletherapy
First, find a good spot for your child’s therapy session that is clear of distractions. We recommend a desk or table that is low enough for your child to sit with their feet flat on the ground; this will help them to stay focused during the session. Please remove all distractions from the room such as siblings, animals, television, etc.
When preparing for the teletherapy session we ask that you log into your session 5-10 minutes early with the personalized link that your therapist sends you. Make sure your Wi-Fi is connected and that your video and microphone are working. Prior to your therapy session you will receive information from your therapist that you can have ready for the session. It’s helpful to have a visual schedule ready for your child to help them transition between school time, play time, and therapy time.
